We thoroughly enjoyed our Easter break at this hotel. The big rooms were comfortable and stylish, with great decor. The breakfast was delicious and offered a good variety. The friendly owners were always willing to share interesting stories about the location. We also learned about the history of the famous Uruguayan tonic water factory and we discovered interesting facts about the lifestyle of Uruguayan gauchos. The hotel's prime location allowed us easy access to the town's most significant landmarks.
We had absolutely no complaints about our stay - it was an all-around positive experience.

The history of the old factory was very interesting to learn about and the staff was knowledgeable about it. the location was great for exploring the town and its surroundings.
The size of the room was quite small and there wasn't enough space for our luggage. the shower was hard to use and the hot water was intermittent.

The hotel is located in a great area, close to the hometown of the famous writer Mario Benedetti. the rooms are spacious and stylish, with a comfortable bed and a large, clean bathroom. the staff is friendly and helpful, offering tours of the former factory and sharing interesting stories about its history. the breakfast is delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. Plus, there are cozy sitting areas in the courtyard and reception area.
The hotel lacks a view of the surrounding scenery.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly and Veronica, in particular, was amazing. She gave us a tour of the historic buildings where the famous tonic was originally made. The room we stayed in was spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean. The shower was also a highlight, as it was quite large. The breakfast provided at the hotel was delicious, and we enjoyed sitting in the courtyard and reception area. the hotel's location was great and we found it to be excellent value for money.
Nothing to fault.
